Absolute Power...?
For a while now I have known that there is a force behind why school bands in Southern Arkansas are in a slow and steady decline. Recently I have tracked that force to an unlikely source. As of yet, I do not have ALL the facts I need, but I plan on getting them, and subsequently voicing them here---among other places.

Me too...I recently went to a Chaffin Jr. high football game in Ft. Smith (several of our youth girls are in the band) and the band was pretty awesome for a junior high. If they had marched more, they would have been better than a lot of southern arkansas high school bands. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they are about 130 strong!
